Photographs sure do flatten out the ocean. Notice that the approaching swell has blotted out the view of the horizon and off-shore rocks. Only the tall cliff in the background and the foreground rocks are still visible. I'm sitting in the somewhat calmer water behind a rock so that I can spare one hand to quickly snap a photo with the waterproof camera hanging around my neck. BACK TO PHOTO
