At its most simplistic I have chosen to feature some of my photographs here because I like ithem. How a photograph gets selected is quite subjective and very personal to me, but clearly the content suggests my passions. There is poetry in nature and with a background in biology and art it's easy to find things that interest me. There are some gaps in my photography like 30 years of soccer and my time as a Navy pilot. However both of those provide rich material for stories, some of which are presented in the "Stories" section.
